ABOUT THIS PROJECT

St. Paul Kitchen Remodel The kitchen in this 1.5-story Cape Cod was starved for space, with no access from the detached garage and no eating area. A modest six-foot addition transformed this kitchen—and the client’s daily life, enabling the back door from a newly completed deck to open directly into a mudroom cubby space. Cherry cabinetry offers ample daily storage and a discreet pair of doors conceals a phone recharging station and message center to help the family stay organized. An exquisitely designed eating nook with trestle table in matching cherry, and a center island gas cooktop, both offer ample pullout storage. A nearly ten-foot-wide doorway was created between the expanded kitchen and the adjacent living room, creating an open feel to the main floor. Craftsman-style details abound: cherry flat-panel doors, granite counters with porcelain backsplashes, and natural stone accent tile.

Features User-friendly full-extension drawers and rollout accessories. Natural granite countertops with porcelain and stone backsplashes.
