Afton 15 Farmhouse Kitchen Updated This client’s 1910 farmhouse had seen many additions over the years and was long overdue for an extensive kitchen remodeling. Its cramped layout restricted the room’s capacity and uses, but the client had grand visions of their kids gathering around the kitchen table and eating, baking, or doing the many crafts projects they enjoyed together. In the end, a modest four-foot expansion achieved enough space to accommodate a center island as a gathering place and storage-friendly baking station.
Features Beautiful custom-crafted prairie-style white-painted cabinets with eat-in center island. Eco-friendly hand-scraped engineered flooring. Baking center counter and storage with cookbook and wine display on the ends. Pot and pan drawers, silverware and spice drawers, criss-cross corner base storage cabinet, natural granite countertops and subway tile backsplash with feature tile at range, walk-in pantry.
