ABOUT THIS PROJECT
South Minneapolis Kitchen and Bath Remodel When our client’s childhood home came up for sale, this retiring couple made their way back to Minnesota to become the new owners of her old home. A modest 24’ x 10’ addition converted an existing bedroom into a main-level master suite. A separate soaking tub and shower are well-detailed with subway tiles appropriate to the home’s vintage. A small sunroom is the perfect place for morning meals and growing plants, and the laundry room is accessible from the main level. A mere four-foot extension to the kitchen made room for finely appointed white cabinets and a small prep island. Ergonomic self-closing drawers and rollouts allow easy access to kitchen essentials.
Features White painted prairie-style cabinetry, complementary stained-maple island cabinets, granite countertops, natural maple flooring, white subway-tile backsplash. Ergonomic full-extension drawers and accessories.
South Minneapolis Revisited A year after we completed the main level kitchen and master suite, this client invited Sawhorse back to add distinctive identity to the home’s main entrance. The new covered entry, finely detailed with Tuscan columns and low-maintenance synthetic decking, is accented with period lighting and red front door.
Testimonial “Thank you Sawhorse for doing it again! I am so pleased with the new front entry—great design and expert project management.”
