Chanhassen

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Chanhassen The owner of this mid-century rambler wanted to create a sense of entry and create a few grand details within the home. The middle third of the home was stripped down to its foundation and slightly expanded to maximize setback for its lakeside location. A grand central space was created with an overlook office on the second story and play area for the grandkids. Custom features abound, such as the reused brass baluster for the spiral staircase, concealed behind a secret bookcase entry, and a gingerbread playhouse for the children’s play area.
