Eagan Kitchen and Bath Remodel This active family wanted to update a step-down room division to a visually dynamic layout that would unify the kitchen, dinette, and family room spaces. Removal of soffits allowed for 96-inch full-height cabinets, providing much-needed storage. The white prairie-style cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances are complimented by a black-painted island capable of seating the family for breakfast or an afternoon snack. The black-painted cabinet that sets off the family room from the kitchen further accentuates the black-and-white theme and provides additional storage near the dinette table. The client liked the black-painted cabinets so much that they extended it to the adjacent half-bath, a correlation remarked upon by many guests.
